The CERTIFIED SHOP® international trustmark identifies trusted online stores that have been verified by Shopper's Mind Slovenia, an independent institution.
Nowadays, it is difficult to gain the consumers' trust, especially if the seller is new on the market and the customers' experience with shopping with them is limited. The CERTIFIED SHOP® trustmark indicates that Shopper's Mind, an independent authority, has confirmed that the seller is reliable. With the CERTIFIED SHOP® international trustmark, the seller increases their credibility within and beyond national borders, as well as the level of consumer confidence, leading to higher conversion rates of visitors into customers.
The right to use the CERTIFIED SHOP® trustmark is granted for the period of one year, with the option of renewal if the seller fulfils the criteria to obtain the trustmark, and includes:
-use on all (sub)pages of your online store
- use on all internal promotion channels (e-mail newsletter, printed material)
- use in non-paid promotion posts on online channels (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram)
- use in advertising on ceneje.si and jeftinije.hr price comparison websites
- use in radio ads and other audio formats
If the seller wishes to extend the use of the certificate, rights to other forms of use of the trustmark (i.e. in print or TV advertisements, paid advertising, print media etc.) can be obtained, subject to agreement.
The CERTIFIED SHOP® trustmark is awarded by Shopper's Mind, an independent international authority that verifies various criteria related to the operation of the online seller and takes into account European guidelines when awarding the trustmark.
Yes, if the quarterly review conducted by the awarding authority finds that the seller no longer meets the required criteria. In this case, the seller is issued a warning that the trustmark is only valid for the next quarter and that the shortcomings must be remedied. If the seller fails to do so, his trustmark will be revoked and the contractual relationship terminated.
The trustmark may also be revoked in the event of serious infringements, as decided by the awarding authority.

The CERTIFIED SHOP® trustmark is granted for the period of 1 year (12 months), with the option of renewal if the seller fulfils the criteria to obtain the trustmark.
At the end of each quarter, Shopper's Mind verifies whether the conditions have been fulfilled and updates its rating. If the seller no longer fulfills the requirements or serious infringements have been identified, the trustmark may be revoked.
The CERTIFIED SHOP® trustmark can be obtained in a few simple steps. The seller first applies to obtain the trustmark, then the awarding authority provides it with all the necessary registration documentation and technical instructions. Once the seller has completed the registration requirements, the certification process begins.

Any seller deciding to obtain the CERTIFIED SHOP® trustmark must install a script measuring customer satisfaction in their online store to start gathering customer reviews in just a few clicks.
The script displays a pop-up window to the buyer immediately after purchase, containing a link to the satisfaction survey. This method provides a realistic and transparent store review, as is it reviewed only by the customers completing the purchase at the given moment.
You will receive the instructions for implementing the script to display the survey and the trustmark when you apply for the CERTIFIED SHOP® trustmark.
If your online store meets all the required criteria, a CERTIFIED SHOP® LITE trustmark will appear on your website when you implement the script on your online store and pay the invoice for the certification and the fee for the first month of trustmark use. The Premium trustmark is awarded when you gather 50 post-purchase surveys.
To obtain the CERTIFIED SHOP® PREMIUM trustmark, you must gather 50 post-purchase surveys. After that, the surveys are gathered continuously, as this is the only way to measure current customer satisfaction.
The cost of the certification process, EUR 99 + VAT, is charged after joining us. Afterwards, the fee for using the CERTIFIED SHOP® trustmark is charged quarterly (with the exception of the first month) and depends on the annual revenue of the online store.

The technical inspection of the online store is carried out once a year, except if the website is relaunched. In that case, you notify us about the relaunch and the technical analysis of the online store is carried out again.
The CERTIFIED SHOP® LITE stores are stores that are still in the process of gathering customer surveys and have passed all the necessary analyses to ensure secure shopping. They bear the CERTIFIED SHOP® LITE trustmark and the check mark, which indicates successful certification and guarantees secure shopping.
The CERTIFIED SHOP® PREMIUM stores are stores that have gathered at least 50 surveys by actual buyers and have passed all the necessary analyses to ensure a positive rating and thus secure shopping. They bear the CERTIFIED SHOP® PREMIUM trustmark and a rating ranging from 6 to 10, which indicates successful certification and guarantees secure shopping.
